Parent Opportunities To help keep parents/guardians informed of what is happening at The First Tee of Portland we have a few opportunities throughout the year. Every month we will hold a Parent Orientation meeting. This will be an opportunity for parents to learn more about The First Tee of Portland, ask questions, and interact with other parents. We will also be having a Parent/Guardian Life Skills class. This will be an opportunity for parents to experience the classes that their children go through every week and hopefully get a better idea of what the Life Skills Experience is all about. Below you will find the dates, times, and locations for these different opportunities.

Guidelines for Participants and Parents During The First Tee of Portland activities at the golf course we ask that participants and parents follow these guidelines.
Participants Dress code - Participants should wear golf or athletic shoes, dress neatly, shirts must be tucked in, and hats worn properly.
Parents Attending Activities - Parents attending any class or activity may stay to observe their child as long as they do not disturb the activity/class. While on the golf course if parents wish to walk along and watch their child, the parent must remain on the cart path. Participants are encouraged to carry their own golf bags while playing.

Each
May, PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC) invites
Scholars of The First Tee to attend an executive business forum held
during THE PLAYERS Championship at TPC Sawgrass in Ponte Vedra Beach,
Florida. The Scholars are selected by PwC based on their majors or
interest in Business Management, Economics, Finance and Accounting. The
Scholars interact with global business leaders and attend sessions on
risk management, corporate social responsibility and corporate
governance. Two of the Scholars traditionally speak to the group during
one of the formal gatherings.
